About the foundation
The Plano Park Foundation is dedicated to enhancing and preserving the parks and open spaces throughout the city of Plano, Texas. Established with the mission to support and promote the city’s park system, the foundation works in partnership with the city to provide resources, funding, and community support for park-related initiatives. By working with neighbors and local businesses, the foundation aims to preserve Plano’s parks for generations to come.
Plano’s Park System a cornerstone of the city’s quality of life, offering a diverse range of parks, trails, and recreational facilities. Spanning over 4,000 acres, the park system includes everything from expansive sports complexes and playgrounds to serene nature preserves and community recreation areas.

Mabrie Jackson
John Stone is a certified public accountant specializing in tax with 38 years of public accounting experience. John and his family moved to Plano in 1993. His outside interests include traveling and spending time with his family at the ranch.
Hayden Padgett
A 55-year resident of Plano and former Plano council member, Mabrie Jackson serves as a managing director for public affairs at H-E-B and as the Honorary Consul for the Netherlands.
David Downs is an Advisor with Downs Fischer Financial and a past Plano City Council member. In addition, David previously served on the City of Plano’s Parks Board, Planning & Zoning, and the Collin County Parks Foundation Board. He and his wife Chris, have lived in Plano for over 20 years.
Ryan Dry is a lifelong Plano resident and the founder of Dry Law PLLC, a firm focused on commercial litigation and surety law. In his free time, Ryan enjoys fishing with his three children and drinking wine on the dock with his wife when the fish are not biting.
Hayden Padgett is a technology executive and former Chair of the Plano Parks & Recreation Board. He lives in Plano with his wife Stephanie, their children Theodore and Hollyn, and their two mutts, Kora and Murray.
